Bring your own or we source it
You can supply hardware you’ve already bought (we install at $4-$8 per piece) or we can source it for you through our supplier accounts and include it in the project quote. Most clients pick a finish during the colour consultation and we order along with the project.
FAQ
Should I install new hardware during the cabinet refinish?
Yes — it's the cheapest moment to do it. Doors and drawers are already off, paint and primer haven't gone on the new mounting points yet, and a single drill pass per piece adds maybe two hours total. Doing it later means re-handling every door.
How much does cabinet hardware installation cost?
$300 to $700 typically — $200-$500 for the hardware itself depending on quality and quantity, plus about $100 in installation labour. We can install hardware you supply or quote it as part of the project.
Can you install soft-close hinges and drawer slides?
Yes. Both retrofit easily during the 5-day refinish window. Soft-close hinges add $4-$8 per hinge; soft-close drawer slides depend on existing slide style but are usually $25-$45 per drawer.
What if my new pulls have different hole spacing than the old ones?
Common situation. We fill the old holes with wood filler before priming so they disappear under the topcoat, then drill the new holes after the door is finished. Adds about an hour of labour but is standard practice.
